Prima

According to some stalkers, the small appendages covering the Prima resemble legs or antennae, but the scientists at Research Institute 7 claim that their cellular structure places them closer to the root hairs of small shrubs common in the Zone.\n\n The outer "shell" of the artifact, resembling stone, is made not of rock, but primarily of organic chitin. This supports those who consider the Prima more akin to some living larva than an artifact.
